January 8, 2020 | By: The Darling Dish

It’s no secret that with January comes a lot of diet resolutions, one of the most popular being the Whole30, which is based around a Paleo style of eating while going a bit further to eliminate all added sweetener and foods that mimmic dessert. Whether you are participating in a Whole30® yourself or just trying to eat a little cleaner after the holidays, you may feel like you’re running out of ideas quickly. Here is one of our favorite lunch or dinner recipes using LGS grapes and Suavo Avocados®!

Persimmon season only comes for a short time each winter, so when it does, we try to find as many ways as we possibly can to enjoy these candy-like fruits. We grow a special variety of persimmons, known as the Rojo Brillantes, which are a cross between the Hachiya and Fuyu varieties that are most commonly found in grocery stores. The hybridization of the two allows for the best qualities of each to shine through, without the chance of experiencing the "cottonmouth" sensation that can happen with an unripe Hachiya.
