As we are in our Moroccan Clementine season, we want to share with you a few facts about this particular clementine variety.
The avocado is said to have originated in Mexico as far back at 10,000 B.C. Needless to say, the country has had plenty of time to practice the art of growing the perfect avocado. These days, the United States looks to Mexico for about 85 percent of the avocados we consume. Its mild climate creates ideal conditions to grow avocados year-round, making it the best source for our Suavo Avocados®.
