# Recipe Highlight: Vino Navegado
November 6, 2019 | By: The Darling Dish
Our friend Ana from Muy Delish is back at it with her delicious creations featuring Darling Citrus, and this one has us more than a little excited for the holiday season! If you’re planning to have any sort of gathering this holiday season, consider this your ticket to winning the best host award: [Vino Navegado](https://www.muydelish.com/vino-navegado/) (known as Chilean Mulled Wine).
This [Chilean Mulled Wine](https://www.muydelish.com/vino-navegado/) is very popular in South Chile, where our Darling Clementines® and other Darling Citrus® fruits are sourced throughout the year. This traditional drink is slowly simmered with warm spices that will fill your entire house with that magical holiday aroma. Take that bottle of high quality wine that you got last year for Christmas and put it to good use!
The addition of clementines and little sugar makes it sweet, almost like cider, and the perfect warming drink to greet your guests with on a cold winter day. Feel free to add more or less sugar and spice depending on your preference. The more it simmers, the thicker and less alcoholic it will become, so the more you make it, you’ll be able to find just the right sweetness and simmer time (and we have a feeling you’ll be making it *a lot).*
**
And, if you have any leftover Darling Clementines®, make these [Citrus Moroccan Chicken Kebabs](https://www.muydelish.com/moroccan-chicken-kebabs/) and call it an international night at home! Tell us how you’re planning to make this holiday season shine with Darling Citrus® in the comments below or on social media.
