The sizzlin' heat of the grill is a great match for a long summer day. No better time to fire it up than National Barbecue Month! Throughout the sunshine-filled days by the pool or in the backyard, be sure to put these recipes to use during your next barbecue!

## [Peruvian Roasted Chicken Thighs with Tangy Citrus Sauce](https://www.lgssales.com/recipes/peruvian-roasted-chicken-thighs-with-tangy-citrus-sauce/)

Typically roasted, these Peruvian spiced chicken thighs work perfectly on the grill. With it's tangy citrus sauce made with [Darling Clementines®](https://www.lgssales.com/products/darling-clementines/) , it's a refreshingly delicious meal perfect to be eaten outside! Serve with [fresh mango salsa](https://www.ambitiouskitchen.com/mango-salsa-recipe/) and [flavored rice](https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/orange-flavored-rice-2810959) for a complete spread.

## [Whole30® Suavo Avocado® Chicken Burger Sliders](https://www.lgssales.com/recipes/whole30-suavo-avocado-chicken-burger-sliders/)

Put a twist on the typical burger with ground chicken and a secret ingredient to keep it moist and juicy: [Suavo Avocado®](https://www.lgssales.com/products/suavo-avocado/). Make a toppings bar like you would for tacos with salsa, jalapenos, lettuce, cheese, and of course, more avocado. Have everyone build their sliders for a made-to-order BBQ favorite.

## [Citrus Marinated Grilled Shrimp](https://www.homemadeinterest.com/tequila-citrus-shrimp/)

You probably don’t have a beach in your backyard, but this recipe may have you fooled. [Darling Orange®](https://www.lgssales.com/products/darling-oranges/) and[Darling Lemon®](https://www.lgssales.com/products/darling-lemons/) juices mingle in this marinade for a sea of citrus flavor on those days you just need a tropical escape.

And for some fun in the sun, try out a few of our favorite backyard games:

- [Bowling](https://www.pbs.org/parents/crafts-and-experiments/go-bowling-with-plastic-bottles) with recycled water bottles
- Chalk tic-tac-toe
- [Bean Bag Ball Toss](http://kidzactivities.net/diy-bean-bag-toss/)

Share your favorite use of citrus during your BBQs and be sure to tag Darling Citrus®!
